They need to be strong, corrosion proof, and just be an all-around great guide for your application, the ALPS VD with recessed ring design (RRD) guide is for you. The ALPS VD guide frames are fabricated from SS316 stainless steel and provide extreme corrosion resistance. The unique RRD creates an enhanced gluing surface between the ceramic ring and the frame. ALPS VD guides come standard with double foot design and add the strength needed for surf applications. These are recommended to be used for heavier freshwater applications and light saltwater spinning applications.
